The Vision Prisma FL Carbon Tippet is your reliable fluorocarbon leader material when it comes to inconspicuous presentation, high knot strength and clean unrolling of nymphs and wet flies.

Product description

The Prisma FL Carbon Tippet is the backbone of your fine tippets: 100% fluorocarbon with high knot strength, easy to tie thanks to a special coating, and slightly higher stretch than many other fluorocarbon materials. It still remains a relatively stiff material, allowing even weighted nymphs and small streamers to roll smoothly and be presented precisely.

Thanks to the higher density of fluorocarbon, the Prisma Tippet sinks quickly due to surface tension, making it ideal for nymphing, wet fly fishing, and light streamer fishing in clear waters. We deliberately only stock the 4X, 5X, 6X, and 7X diameters, as these are perfect for wary trout in Graubünden and the Swiss Alps.

All spools: 50 m, Material: 100% Fluorocarbon.

  • 4X – 0.18 mm, breaking strength 2.8 kg / 6.2 lb – ideal for larger dry flies, light nymphs and smaller streamers.
  • 5X – 0.16 mm, breaking strength 2.4 kg / 5.3 lb – All-round size for dry flies and nymphs in alpine streams.
  • 6X – 0.14 mm, breaking strength 1.9 kg / 4.2 lb – for fine dry flies and small nymphs when fishing for sensitive fish.
  • 7X – 0.12 mm, breaking strength 1.5 kg / 3.3 lb – for extremely clear, slow stretches and very wary trout.
