The Nymphmaniac Two Tone Tippet is a two-tone indicator monofilament for nymphing with a tight line. The alternating fluorescent pink and yellow sections provide maximum contrast, allowing you to visually detect even the most subtle bites at a distance. With a diameter of 0.20 mm and a breaking strain of 3.1 kg, the 3X strength offers the ideal combination of visibility, strength, and clean performance in the water, making it perfect as a sighter between your nymphing line and fluorocarbon tippet.
We deliberately only carry the 3X strength because it has proven to be optimal in our alpine flowing waters: strong enough for larger trout, fine enough for natural drift and sensitive enough to detect bites early.
